New Look to Cover Pages
It was suggested that the covers were to dark on the books so I whipped up some new ones today and I like them much better.
We are always open to suggestions as to content and want to make the site as useful and pleasing to view as we can.
Here is what the new ones look like:

Here is what the new ones look like:
Most of the links are working properly and much content has been added. One you may want to check out is this one a 3 hour movie on the life of Christ What makes it interesting is that the producer made this Feature Length Film By Editing Together 55 Individual 'Bible Videos' Segments.
My Family enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too.

MyGenTools Website Update
Progress is being made with merging MyGentools, Genealogy Digest Magazine and Genealogy Digest Blogs into one site but we still have a way to go and all links are not completed yet. So be patient with us when you find something does not work the way it should.
The Cloud 9 Theater will have three different type of shows
One new look in the Cloud 9 Theater, is you will see two additional links-
About This Theater is a link to information about the theater and Genealogy Special Features which is a special theater lobby that contains shows of special interest to genealogy researchers. The current shows relate to DNA but others will be added in the coming weeks.
In the coming weeks many more will be added so come and watch us grow.
Thanks for your support,
Ferman

Must Have Chrome Extension
I have just added a new Chrome extension that has solved many problems for me when looking at pages in full screen. Now you can access an address bar without leaving full screen. A number of pages we use at MyGenTools load in full screen so this extension is a great help.
Check it out here (it also functions when not in full screen):

New map feature added to MyGenTools!
This interactive map provides comprehensive information about the evolution of the state's counties from the creation of the first county to the end of the year 2000.
This map has two goals:
- Make accessible in maps and text the historical boundaries, names, organization, and attachments of every county at any date (day, month, and year) from the creation of the first county through 31 December 2000.
- Make it easy for readers to compare historical county configurations to modern ones.
Historical state and county boundary lines appear in black on the map, modern lines in white.
Consolidated Chronology of State and County Boundaries
A single chronology of all changes in the state and county boundaries, names, organization and attachments. Each entry describes the change and provides a citation to the primary source(s) used to determine the change. The organization of this document is chronological; if two or more events occurred on a date, they are listed in alphabetical order beneath the date.
Commentary
A description of the research problems or materials that were unusual or stood out in the research and compilation of the historical state and county lines and how the compiler handled them.
Bibliography and Sources
An alphabetical list of the primary and secondary sources found useful in the historical research and compilation of the evolution of the state’s county and state boundaries.
Metadata - Summary Form
A single-page document providing information about the data available on the website in text and maps. Includes: Project Description, Preferred Style for Citation, and Spatial Reference Information.
Metadata - Full FGDC Form
A document providing information about the data available on the website in text and maps. Includes: Historical Compilation Process, Data Quality, Spatial Data Organization, Spatial Reference Information, Entity and Attribute Information, Distribution, and Metadata Reference Information.

MyGentools and Genealogy Digest Magazine are two new projects I am working on and should be ready for prime time by mid June.
Object of project is to have all the tools one needs for genealogy in one place.
With things changing so fast with both programs and content it is a full time job trying to keep up.
The above projects should make your search more productive and free you up for more time to analyze your new finds.
Happy Hunting,
Ferman Blalock
